Among Burgundy's most prestigious appellations, Beaune 1er Cru "Clos des Mouches" holds a special place. Renowned worldwide, this historic vineyard, located south of Beaune on the border with Pommard, is considered one of the greatest Premier Crus of the Côte de Beaune. Its privileged exposure, perfectly drained clay-limestone soils, and rich history make it an exceptional terroir.

Why is Clos des Mouches so renowned?

The name "Clos des Mouches" does not refer to the insects we know today, but to "honey flies ," the name formerly given to bees in Burgundy. The numerous beehives on this sunny hillside gave its name to this emblematic vineyard.

Clos des Mouches is one of the few vineyards in Beaune to produce both very high-quality red and white wines. This dual identity contributes to its international renown and unique character.

A bottle is never just wine. It's a vintage, choices, sometimes doubts, a lot of work… and above all, the passion to bring our terroir to life.
