We were pleased to see some of our wines featured in Vert de Vin magazine , a media outlet specializing in the world of wine.
In this edition, two of our Pommard wines were tasted and reviewed: Les 3 Climats 2022 and La Combotte 2021. A great recognition that highlights the work done at the estate.
Pommard “Les 3 Climats” 2022: precision and energy
Our Les 3 Climats vintage 2022 received a score of 16/20 (92/100) .
During the tasting, the wine was described as having a spicy and slightly toasty profile, with aromas of licorice, cardamom or nutmeg, accompanied by notes of red fruits such as morello cherry, strawberry or raspberry.
On the palate, tasters highlighted the wine's precision, vibrancy, and energy, supported by a lovely acidity and a fine yet present tannic structure. The finish was described as direct and precise, with good persistence and a floral touch.
Pommard "La Combotte" 2021: fruit and freshness
Our La Combotte vintage 2021 also caught the magazine's attention with a score of 15.5+/20 (91/100) .
The wine is described as expressive and luscious, with aromas of crushed strawberry, raspberry, cherry and blackberry, accompanied by spicy and lightly toasted notes.
The tasting reveals a lively and precise palate, marked by the freshness of red fruits and a lovely tension. The fine-grained tannins provide structure and length, with a persistent finish of fruity notes.
These comments and ratings are a wonderful recognition of the work carried out in the vineyard and the cellar. Each vintage is an opportunity to continue our quest for balance, precision, and expression of the Pommard terroir.
